Michael Anthony Yin

Michael has a strong technical and commercial background after gaining Bachelor Degrees in both Science and Commerce from the University of Auckland, and then a Post Graduate Diploma of Computer Science. He has worked in the banking industry for several years developing a state of the art Loan Application System, prototyping future strategic applications, as well as development in traditional accounting systems. He was then involved with designing and developing an international Client/Server software package for a one of the worlds largest accounting companies, and has also had several contracts with New Zealand’s leading utility companies, involving the development of an interface into Geographical Information System (GIS).

Michaels Marketing and Accounting experience makes him the natural choice for Products Manager within ethos Software Architects Ltd. This role allows him to define the Product Sales Strategies, Development Processes and Marketing Strategies, which will ensure ethos Software Architects Ltd a place at the forefront of New Zealand Software Houses.

In addition to being a Microsoft Visual Tools expert, Michael also has invaluable experience of Project Management, Risk Analysis and Development Life Cycles within the Microsoft Client Server environment. He heads the ethos in-house development team – a selection of expert software specialists, who clearly understand the complexity of large-scale development.

Michael’s technical experience with Object Orientation and Microsoft’s n-Tier approach compliments his introduction of structured development models such as CMM and COM. These approaches have been indoctrinated into the ethos way and expertly followed by all who develop at ethos Software Architects Ltd
